Quick Thoughts: Em found a MAN!
First off I would like to say thank you to Ms. Wylde for writing this book. After the last few books, I needed to read something more exciting, and Devil’s Game didn’t let me down. I could spend all day quoting my favorite bits out of this book, because Hunter had a mouth on him!
If you are a follower and fellow reader of this series, you would know that our girl Em has a problem. Her father is the president of the Reapers Motorcycle Club and she can’t find a guy brave enough to punch her V-card let alone date her. She meets Hunter one night, during a club party (he is a member of the Devil’s Jacks, a rival club) and he hasn’t forgotten about their short interlude. When the opportunity came around to help out his club AND have some private time with Em, Hunter jumped all on that!
Em, meanwhile, finally has gotten over her crush on Painter. He didn’t care for her in the way she wanted him to, and he would never go against his president to pursue a relationship with her, so Em is now starting to feel a little desperate.
“I’d decided to start campaigning for a woman’s right to marry her vibrator.”
She is a 22-year old virgin and is tired of living under her father’s thumb. She meets a guy named Liam on the internet, and after talking to him for awhile, she concocts a plan with a few of the old ladies to go to his town to meet up.
Fast-forward to present day where the last book left off, she has been kidnapped. Her Liam? He is none other than the biker who she met a while ago named Hunter. He has abducted her in order to have his club’s demands for the Reapers met, and is the first guy that she has met that is not intimidated by her father or his club. She feels betrayed by his lie, but she also is still incredibly attracted to him, she also hasn’t forgotten about the last time they had met, and gives him a proposition.
“So, what do you think?” I asked.
“Fucking, of course. Remember? I’m not a need a little girl who needs protection, Hunter. I know what I want. Just lay back and relax because it’s not personal. I’m just going to borrow you’re dick for a while.”
What happens after that? You definitely have to read for yourself! It was an AWESOME story that had me laughing, excited, and fanning myself all throughout the book and is not one to miss.
