Quick Thoughts: Nick and Daisy FOREVER!

This is a short novella that the author wrote to give us some more of my favorite characters Nick and Daisy from the first book in the series, and it deals with the events that has been going on in these books and how they are balancing having a relationship with each other, and trying to overcome the newest danger that is at their door. Though this book is short, around 130 pages, it was packed full of action and drama that we expect from this series and it made me wonder why I hadn’t picked this one up sooner.

The price is a tad high for a little over a hundred pages, but it was so good, I wasn’t to hurt about it. I got to spend a little more time with these characters and it was good to see what they have been up to since the last we saw them. I love the fact that we get dual POVs. The chapters that we are in Nick’s head was great, and we got to see how he loved his Daisy and his battle with trying to go straight, but also needing to keep her safe.

She is going to college and desperately wants to fit in and make friends. She wants to have a BFF and people to hang out with and socialize, while Nick is much more introverted and rather keep company with himself or with Daisy. He does make an effort in order to make her happy and that really shows how far his devotion to her went.

Since the book is so short, I don’t want to say too much about it, it would spoil it so I will leave you with this…
